- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆"I will find the law and you will be on your way" was what the Peoria 7707 N Knoxville Ave branch manager told me why she denied public notary service to me as a Chase customer. She said a new Illinois law prevents Chase to notarize a document that does not say public notary is needed. She never found the law but did give me a generic Chase policy which does not really say anything specific. After I got it done from CEFCU, another bank, and I went back to Chase to tell her CEFCU did not know the new law, she said Chase is different. She is right---Chase is different and I "will be on my way" completely out of Chase, with all my accounts.By A Google User, January 23, 2017
